Worship Leader Training

Training Workshops for Lay Leaders 

On Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM a diocesan-wide training for Lay Leaders will be offered.

Lay leaders will be trained to serve as Worship Leaders. The new lay led services of Communion Under Special Circumstances Adapted for Public Use will also be introduced. Eucharistic Visitors as well as Lay Leaders should attend because of their role in this communion service. This service is NOT a Deacon’s Mass. It is not a mass at all, not a Eucharist. It is a distribution ritual sharing in a mass that has happened at another place and another time. The Presiders at this service are Worship Leaders and Eucharistic Visitors. They must be licensed.

Las Vegas: All Saints’ Church – Bishop Dan Edwards

Elko: St. Paul’s – Rev. Karen Albrethsen

Reno: Trinity – Rev. Jim Beebe & Rev. Jim Edwards
